URBAN BITES :: Creators of fine chocolates, petit fours, preserves and nougat

Described by many as “the best nougat ever eaten”, Urban Bites nougat was awarded a quality endorsement (March 2005-2007) by Les Toques Blanches Queensland, an international association of Executive Chefs dedicated to promoting high quality products. Our nougat is all hand made in our commercial kitchen and does not contain preservatives. Nougat contains glucose which is wheat derived. Urban Bites’ nougat is tested down to .002% - no gluten is detected at that %. Currently we offer five flavours:

MAD FOR TRAD: Traditional, hand made nougat for the lovers of traditional, soft nougat.

CHOC-OHH-BLOCK: Flavoured with couverture chocolate and Frangelico liqueur, an adult tasting nougat, so luscious, so smooth that you will understand why so many people go “ohh!” upon tasting.

CRANBERRY & PISTACHIO: Full of crunchy pistachios and tangy dried cranberries.

CHOC & GINGER SWIRL: For those who need their lives nut free, this is the nougat for you. Couverture and Buderim glace ginger ensure a smooth, delicious soft nougat

RASPBERRY & ALMOND: Pure raspberries add a subtle colour and flavour to this delightful nougat.

STORAGE HINTS: Store your nougat in a cool, dry place. Once opened it may be stored in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
